Multi Channel Vs Multi Zone Audio
All distributed audio systems will include either a multi channel or multi zone amplifier. A multi-channel amplifier reproduces the same audio source at the same volume over multiple speakers (perfect for small spaces). A multi-zone system gives independent control over groups of speakers in different locations (e.g. lounge vs dining area).
Controlling Your Distributed Audio System
For smaller locations, many find it easiest to control through the smartphone app. We can also install wall switches. For medium-large stores, we typically wall mount an iPad or other tablet for easy control.
How Many Speakers Do I Need?
Ultimately this depends on ceiling height and if audio is the primary focus (club) or background (retail). Rule of thumb: if you have 10 ft. ceilings, each speaker will cover about 400 sq ft.

Distributed Video

Video is becoming more and more centralized. With the invention of distributed video, one source can be shared with multiple TVs that are all connected to a switch. For example, If you've ever enjoyed a game at a sports bar with multiple TV's playing the same game, you've experienced a distributed video system.
