Return Policy

Your purchase at Audio Video Unlimited is covered by our 30 day return policy. Items must be in new condition with original packaging and accessories.

Online Order Returns

Please contact us to begin our online return process. Once we have received the details about your order, we will email you a shipping label for your item.

In Store Returns

Items can be returned to our store. Please note our store hours and be sure to bring your receipt / online order confirmation.

Exclusions

  • Items marked as clearance or open box should be considered final sale and are ineligible for returns. Please note these items are still covered by warranty.
  • Items involved in custom installations, such as in-wall speakers cannot be returned once installed.
  • Headphones and earbuds may only be returned if unopened.
Product Warranties
All products carry full manufacturer warranty which varies for each product category and manufacturer. Refer to the manufacturer's warranty information for exact details. Defective products must be taken (or shipped Freight Prepaid) to the nearest Factory Authorized Service Centre to be repaired.
Installation Warranty
All custom installations & basic installations come with a one-year warranty against workmanship performed by us. Defective equipment covered under manufacturer warranty is subject to a removal and reinstallation charge of one half hour at current installation rates.
Dead on Arrival
If a product you purchased from us proves to be defective within 15 days from purchase, we will replace it with an equivalent new unit at no charge.
Out of Warranty Service
We utilize factory authorized service centres. All repairs carry a 90 day warranty on work performed. Estimates are available for $30 which can be applied to repair charges. Please allow a minimum of 30 days for most repairs. All repairs must be picked up within 30 days of completion or merchandise will be forfeited to us to cover any costs incurred.
Terms of Sale
Payment in full is due at the point of sale. Company reserves the right to grant credit where appropriate. Credit terms are net 15 days. A late payment charge will be imposed on all balances 15 days or over at a periodic rate of 2% per month. All merchandise and title to the property remains with AVU until payment is received in full.
Misprints, Errors, Product Availability and Prices

Prices, product selection and promotions offered on this website may be different from those offered in-store by our retailers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Audio Video Unlimited does not guarantee that a price, product or promotion offered online will also be available or honored at a Retailer Store or vice versa.

However, misprints, errors, inaccuracies, omissions (including incorrect specifications for products) or other errors may sometimes occur. Audio Video Unlimited cannot guarantee that products and services advertised on its Website will be available when ordered or thereafter. Audio Video Unlimited does not warrant that the content of the Website including, without limitation, product descriptions or photographs, is accurate or complete.

Audio Video Unlimited and its retailer partners reserve the right to:

  • (a) correct any error, inaccuracy or omission at any time without prior notice or liability to you or any other person;
  • (b) change at any time the products and services advertised or made available for sale on the Website, the prices, fees, charges and specifications of such products and services, any promotional offers and any other Website content without any notice or liability to you or any other person;
  • (c) reject, correct, cancel or terminate any order, including accepted orders for any reason;
  • (d) limit quantities available for sale or sold.

We reserve the right to cancel, terminate or not process an order (including an accepted order) if the price or any other material information on this website is inaccurate. If we do not process an order for this reason, we will advise you that the order has been canceled and undertake either not to charge you for the amount of the order, or to credit you for the order, depending on the payment method used.
